    When I disassembled my car it did not have the staggered shocks. they were both in front of the axle, and their are two other access holes in front of the one you pointed out. those are still accessible to install the shocks. thanks for everything, if this is not right let me know man.     Is this where the shock comes thru the floor and is bolted to the plate? If so, i had to reinforce those plates for the shocks.

    More work to the stang! trunk pan, wheelwells, and quarters fully tacked into place. Installed and fabricated gas tank cross member. Decided to put traction bars on!

    1972 mustang fastback from mass

    Well I'm assuming that the front end was swapped out before I had it. I believe the car was in an accident because on of the head light brackets and the inner apron was damaged. The numbers match from the title to the car. So I'm guessing someone swapped the front end on it

    Thanks guys. Here are some pictures of the progress i have made so far. there are also some pictures of the parts i have bought already. There is a lot more rust than i originally thought. But with time and money it can be done.

    Hey my name is nate. I bought a 72 fastback over the summer. I have been working on it when i have free time. It is a complete restoration project. So far i have bought many of the parts i will need to rebuild it. i have stripped the car down to the engine bay and rotten floor boards. haha
