I would have also. The main thing is if I can get the bolt out without removing the head that would be my preferred method.

Not sure if this what you are looking for but in the master parts catalog in section 120 has all the distributor applications by engine with the part number cross reference.

Just to add to this tread, I saw this adapter at CJ Pony parts for adding a 3G alt to a 1G system. If someone wanted to maintain the "factory look" and connections. Anyone use one of these or heard of these...
