    QA1 upgrade

Thank you for your response. They recommend the spring rate based on front end weight. Under 3000 lbs recommendation is 400. Could have done with 450? I upgraded to improve handling not to lower the car. Tom

Thinking of Upgrading to QA1 Coil front Coilover System

Anyone have any experience with these? Mine is a 1971 coup with a 351 Cleveland. Looks like a pretty easy install. There have a number of different options. Does the 400 lb vs 450 lbs make a difference. I am casual driver. Any advice would be appreciated! Tom

Thanks Dave, the Jacobs iginition box has an on off . If you turn the high voltage off, the tach works. So, I believe its something to do with he Jacobs ignition system.

    Jacobs Ignition System

I installed a Jacobs ignition system and Mallory # 4756701 distributor way back in 1990. I have a 351 Cleveland with two barrel heads. Installed englebrock intake with Holly 4 barrel carb. The car has always performed well. May frustration is the tach will not register over 1300 rpm. They...
