    Wanted some advice before I attempt. 1971 Mustang. My turn signal switch stopped working and no parts stores in town has one...so I ordered a new one online. In the meantime I would like my brakes lights to work. Can I bypass the steering column by splicing the wire from the stop light...

    I'll be danged! Worked perfect. Collar slid about an inch and cylinder turns perfect now. Thanks, Matt

    Ignition lock cylinder will not turn all the way back to lock?? I've replaced the lock cylinder and same problem. It will turn far enough back to get the ignition out of run but won't return to lock so I can remove the key...any ideas? I'm working in a 1971 mustang. Thanks, Roddy

    1971 could. Trying to remove the steering wheel and it will not budge. Using steering wheel puller...lubricating the shaft....banging with rubber mallet. Everything except heat. Any other tips? I'm afraid I'm going to strip the mounting holes if I apply much more pressure to the puller...
