Looks like that is a full size cap, which is much bigger than the smaller twist-on type that goes inside the pop-off cap.

What size hex key do I need to remove the shifter knob? I've tried 3/32'', but it doesn't work. 

My '72 351C H code has an Edelbrock 1406 4V carb and a 2V intake (D1AE-9425-DA). What are the long-term effects of this setup? Should I consider swapping to an Edelbrock 2750 intake, or something else?

Any idea what the correct length is for the knobs? I ordered replacements, but they aren't as long as the ones in my 72. The new ones don't reach the grommets, so there's enough space to see the rod below.

The NC DMV questioned the VIN Plate on my dash, because the rivets don't look original. From the limited information I could find, the "F" should've been the Ford script "F", correct? Does it look like what a 1972 should look like? I removed the fender to show them that the numbers matched...

My roofrail weatherstrip on my 72 fastback is pretty deteriorated. With no quarter window crank to lower it, what steps do I need to do to get the window out of the way to replace the weatherstrip? I'm guessing remove the interior quarter panels to access the quarter window to remove it so it's...
