Holly Sniper EFI issues or NOT?

Here is a video on how I ran my wiring. Hope it might help those who are planning on installing one. Please note that I have a 460 but really shouldn't make a difference. Remember to keep the Sniper wiring as isolated as possible from the rest of the car electrical/ignition system.

Holly Sniper EFI issues or NOT?

Hi Rod, Like you I haven't been active on the site for a while, but I've been lurking in the background. I have a Sniper and have had very few problems with it. Mine is on a 460 but I know a few of the members on here have them on their 351's. I originally had a Duraspark dizzy but have...

    Introduction

Welcome from Ohio. Looks like it's going to be a good project car. Really great to see you invest your time into your son not only to teach him about rebuilding a car but also the bond that you are building between you two. Too many fathers now days seem not to be willing to take or make the...

    Dist trouble

From your pictures it looks like the pump shaft is resting against the side of the boss. Looks like you are just dead heading against the top of the shaft. I would try to use a long screw driver to try to get the shaft more centered. If needed, you could try using a little piece of bread (I...

    Dist trouble

I doubt the rod came out - most likely it's just in a spot where it needs to be turned a smidge. Put a little grease on the end of the distributor and the try pushing down firmly to see if the shaft won't turn and seat. You can pick up an oil pump primer shaft from your local auto store and...

    Good welding helmet

Switching from stick to mig has been a learning experience for me for some reason. Two things I found that help me the most was a larger face view plate and focusing a strong light on the area I'm welding. The helmet I'm using is an Eastwood...

I think this is a scam See this post: https://7173mustangs.com/threads/here-we-go-again-i-doubt-anyone-here-would-be-as-dumb-as-i-was-to-fall-for-th

The gig is up. The ebay listing no longer exist. They must have gotten cold feet or seen this post or some other that tip them off that their scam was blown.

Tuff spot to be in. Hate to lose a car due to suspicions but would really hate to lose $30,000 or more to a scam. I wouldn't bid on it until the seller responds to all questions you ask, and they also provide the vin. Good luck.

Welcome from Ohio. Nice looking 73. Are those original seats? They look like they have a lot of bolster like a aftermarket or swap from another car.

What did you do today instead of working on your Mustang?

My wife and I fly out to Vegas for the week. I've been there about a dozen times before, but it was the first time for my wife. We had a great time and of course, we donated to the local slot machines. 😆

    Feedback On This Oil Tester

I wouldn't put much stock in it. Even if can detect contamination it can't really tell you what the contamination is or how much to any accurate degree. Pay the $35 (Blackstone Laboratories) and get a professional evaluation of what is really going on in your engine.

Does the back of my instrument cluster (IC) look right?

From what I can see the circuit for the gas gauge should work. Don't know about the tach upgrade. If you have can get a 10-ohm resistor you can make a 6v power supply out of 4 aa batteries and you can test the gauge to see if it is working. Put the 10 ohm in line on the negative side. There...

    Crites Performance Parts Has Closed

I would have to agree with you. It is the boomers and gen x that gravitate to these older cars. As we move onto the garage in the sky, there will be less demand for parts due to the lack of interest by the younger generation. We will see vendors close or shift their inventory toward the...
