Perhaps you could describe what you did to solve your issues for those of us in a similar pickle. Thanks!

Sources for '72 Mach 1 Side door glass

Those of you that have purchased new side glass, where did you get it from. I'm replacing the scratched up glass currently on my Mustang. I've seen quite a few places that carry them. Who would you suggest I buy them from? Who should I NOT buy them from? Thanks for your assistance!

    AHA! Thanks !

    Missing bolt?

My guess would be some sort of accessory attachment point. No need to put a bolt in it at this point I would think. Perhaps some more seasoned aficionados on here may know more.

What did you do to your car today?

Nice idea! I found this paint rack at Summit for around $80.00. Holds parts at a level we taller folk can paint standing up. Has rollers and can be taken apart for storage until needed again.

What did you do to your car today?

Glad you posted this. I purchased one that seemed to be in good condition. Upon opening it up I was very pleased to see it was. Used a couple of tools I made from bottle openers to pry apart the rolled seam. One I ground a thin bent edge for starting to lift up seams edge. The second is...

Ram Air Hood spring now available!

So my hood hinges are pretty sloppy and the hood staying up an "iffy" proposition. Tried the large hammer technique but those rivets are made of some hard stuff! Decided to try the "hot wrench" method to tighten them up. Used a welding tip to keep heat located on rivet. Backed up other side...

Help 351C 4V Drivers side head not getting oil when priming motor

If you had enough dirt to cause your problem you should take the engine apart down to the bare block. When you got oil flowing into the left side I guarantee you carried some dirt with it into the galley and cylinder head. Do thorough cleaning of the block including all of the oil gallerys...

Help 351C 4V Drivers side head not getting oil when priming motor

Well egg on my face! Upon further rumination I went back to some tech files to confirm my suggestions. Actually I was WRONG that the bearing orientation would cause your problem. Even if it was not orientated correctly it wouldn't impede oil flow to the left side oil gallery. As the picture of...

Help 351C 4V Drivers side head not getting oil when priming motor

I'm assuming you checked the right side plug depth? Run a wire down the passage from the plug down to the main bearing to check for obstruction. Otherwise you could pull the pan and check # 5 main bearing orientation. I'm really curious about what the issue is.

Help 351C 4V Drivers side head not getting oil when priming motor

Did you tap the gallery holes and put in threaded plugs in the rear oil gallery openings? Possibly put a longer pipe plug or screwed one into far? That will restrict if not cut off oil transfer to left side gallery.

Help 351C 4V Drivers side head not getting oil when priming motor

Try removing a rocker arm and push rod on # 8 cylinder. Take something like an inspection flash light and look down the hole. Is there any oil coming up around the lifter(s)?

Help 351C 4V Drivers side head not getting oil when priming motor

Perhaps your drill doesn't have enough "ass" to get the oil moving. Used to be when I used 10W40 racing oil my 3/8" drill wasn't up to the job. It took my 1/2" Black & Wrecker drill to get things moving. If that doesn't pan out, there must be a restriction from the back of the passenger oil...

    Header options & installation advice

When installing my headers I used the plastic bags they came in while installing them. I had sandblasted and painted them with VHT. Didn't make it any more difficult but kept from scraping them up until I get them cured. Boy for Hooker Headers the quality is sub par. Mine are Mexican made. I...

    Trunk floor part needed

I decided to fabricate my own replacement piece. Got a 12' X 8" sheet of 20 gauge steel on eBay. Made a wood buck with the oval hole pattern as a guide. Made oval hole about 1/4" smaller . Hammered the lip into the hole. MIG tacked/welded piece in place. Applied sealer and painted with...
