Vehicles For Sale 1973 Mach 1 for Sale

You are indeed blessed. You are at a completely different level than me, I was always the kid that drove the heck out of my cars until they broke, and then not having anyplace to do the required repairs or any other type of work, I 'd get rid of the broken car and move on to the next. I've had...

I didn't do the restoration but I think they must've used the fenders as well as the bumper mounts. It appears everything was done right, no cobbling.

Living in SC now and enjoying my retirement

All arguing on these sites are like commercials on TV, I forget what the actual topic (show) was that I was reading about (watching).

    electric fan

I bought a 12" fan from American Volt thru Amazon. It can be used for pulling or pushing (I went with pushing) and fits very nicely between the latch support and fan. I mounted the thermostat to the left as shown in picture.

    Dash Printed Circuit Replacement Issue

I tested my cluster lights on the bench using a 9-volt after installing led bulbs as you outline. It worked great and kept me from having to r&r the cluster several times.

Hit the worst pothole in my life....help..

This is what I do to keep the suspension from stretching out when lifting the car. It's a piece of 1" square steel tubing cut to 7". I brace it between the upper control arm bolt and the inner fender rail. Works great (don't forget to remove it after lowering, all I have to do is push on each...

Convert gauge cluster to aftermarket gauges?

Have done mine using new dash center piece and 2" electronic gauges. I had to use a Dremel tool to round out the oblong holes, but it went pretty slick. Much better than gauges under the dash.

Trunk lid will not stay open

Here's a pic of the tool I made after trying the vice grip method and damn near taking a finger or two off. It really worked to move the spring rod to the max position (most rearward).

NEED ALL MEMBERS TO RESPOND PLEASE!

I believe you would need to change the mounting brackets too, but I'm not sure because it was done by the previous owner about 8 years ago. I can try to add a picture of the mounts tomorrow.
