I had a similar issue~ the circuit breaker would die~after a while reboot itself then work just for a short time then nothing. Circuit breakers are inexpensive. My power windows were also affected by this as they are both sharing the circuit breaker.

My misuse of words~ I did mean circuit breaker, not relay. So sorry.

I have a question re: speedo gears~ If my speedometer is reading 5 miles slower than actual speed do I replace gear with a gear that has fewer teeth or more?

It does sound like the relay, as Tommy has said. I had a similar issue with top and power windows stopping and then after a short while working again for a short time. They are both on the same relay and that is an easy and inexpensive fix.

Interested in a right rear window regulator for my 73 convertible~one that you can guaranty works well.

Has anyone suggested that it may well be the fluid line leaking and not the motor itself? Lines are replaceable.
