I couldn’t agree more. My 71 Mach1 is truly a Virtual Time Machine. Working on it and cruising reminds me of simpler times when gas was $.29 a gallon and social media did not yet exist. Jimmy Buffett coined the phrase “mental floss” which seems fitting.
Perhaps e-mailing an update of their qualification criteria for their vendors to all customers might have a positive effect. Usually the publishing of proactive product/service improvement bulletins is well received by the public.
The turn down exhaust tips were likely a carry over from the Boss 302. I might be the only one that likes the "all business" look of the straight rear valence and dual exhaust with turn downs. :)
Those look like the same clutch parts that I have. I also have the RAM aftermarket flywheel and an aluminum bellhousing from a 1972 Mustang with a 302 and 3 speed toploader. I had no interference with the aluminum bellhousing, which is the same one used on the Boss 302. Not sure about...
I agree 100%. I did the stock "Z" bar manual conversion with my "H" code 351c. Petal effort with the 11" Centerforce I clutch is actually less than the hydraulic clutch in my 2013 Mustang 3.7 L v6 six speed
