A final update. The D0OZ-6038-B motor mount insulators were installed and do work for the convertible. Clearance at the radiator shroud was a little tight at the top, around 1/4”. Other than that no issues so far. Thanks again for all of your help.

In doing some more research it seems that while the mounts share the same bolt patterns and may well line up with the existing stanchions the difference is in their thickness. The convertibles required the engine to sit 1/2” lower to clear the thicker frame. Hence the convertible mounts are 1/2”...

Thanks, I think this may be the route he will have to take. I have some hard neoprene pads about that size. I’ll ship a couple back and see if his mechanic can make something of them.
