Hood isn't closing correctly on the left side - and it's not the front edge that concerns me as much as the back.

My bet is that the rear RH fender apron is not sitting where it belongs due to the crash damage, causing the bracket to sit in the wrong place. Either that, or someone put a different hood on it in addition to the fender and loused up the installation.

The RH fender also sits too far inboard. Either it's out of alignment, or the top of the apron has bent in.

For $6k, move on. We haven't even seen the rear quarter bottoms, where bad bodywork almost always rears its ugly head.

Looks like it came with some nice options, full console, fold down rear seat, air and as far as the body, I've seen far worse being driven as daily drivers, unless there's lots of rust or frame damages not shown, it appears like a good starting point for 6K.

Approximated cost of project:

Car + title = ~$6,200

Front fender + shipping and endcap: ~$400

Replace split 3-spoke steering wheel: ~$250

Cheap paint job with home wetsanding: ~$1,500

Stripes: ~$120

$8,470 - and that's only for the obvious stuff.

By the time you're done with this one, you could have picked up something pretty decent for $10k.

Case in point, consider this nearly identical car - in excellent shape - for $8k at last posting. Might still be available too:
