::welcome:: From San Diego.
Thanks yeah i sure hope i'm not in over my head.Hello, from the Pacific Northwest. Looks like a great project you got there.
+1. One minute I'm trying to change the wiper blades, and the next thing you know, with the help of the guys on here, I'm tearing the whole engine apart and rebuilding it again.Welcome Daniel,
With all the help here on the site you are never in over your head.
I guess its from growing up around mechanics and drag racing through my early years. Got a job at a local full service station 8 years ago and now I run the place so I guess it may be annoying sometimes. The relative just thinks he's a know it all when obviously he can be wrong but refuses help, and nobody is a better mechanic then him. I don't know it all otherwise I probably wouldn't be here!Hi Daniel! You sound just like my buddy, Kong. I could hear his voice narrating your post. I like the "wanna be" description of your relative. Kong can talk shop for weeks, is that you too? He can talk cars and motors all day long. ~Beth
Funny you should mention drag racing, some of my family plans to go to Brainerd International Speedway in August. It'll be my first time in there. I'm sure we'll be posting after to tell some tales.I guess its from growing up around mechanics and drag racing through my early years.
