Deluxe Glove Box Trim

Hi all. I'm curious if anyone here has added the Deluxe trim around the glovebox and the glovebox door to a car that didn't originally have it? I ordered the parts, but was curious about all of the extensions that look like screws screw into. Is it as easy as drilling holes in the metal and screwing in from the rear? Are there any stencils out there to help in drilling the right spots?
