Wanted a complete Engine wiring harness 73 Coupe 351 C Auto...everything under the hood. Doesn't have to be perfect, just useable...mine is just totally butchered. Guys, I'm not rich either

Headlight Engine, Gauge, and Alternator Harnesses: I do not recommend refurbishment of these harnesses, as the reproduction versions are usually of excellent quality. Further, these harnesses have been exposed to the heat and elements for several decades, degrading the quality of the wiring and connectors by corrosion. Some years are not available in reproduction, so those harnesses can be refurbished but without a guarantee.

Yup, that's true. I wrote that four years ago when I started the business, having little experience with under-the-hood stuff. In all of my under-hood harness work, I've not seen blown wiring that I couldn't fix with the exception of alternator harnesses and the lousy ring connectors.

But for the 71-73's, there is no choice but to refurbish. I routinely refurbish 71-73 underhood harnesses for $100 and they should work just as well as they came off the factory floor. I guaranty that they will work correctly (workmanship). So...your choice: go with NOS, used without it having been gone through or mine ($135 including core) knowing that it will work and be plug-n-play?

I have a number of 1973 headlight harnesses ready for refurbishment, but no gauge or alternator harnesses. The latter two are reproduced, by the way.
