Finally made it down to the shop to show the Q-code some love...Been non stop with work since sandy...So today I was able to get back to finishing up the filler inner brace supports for the custom hood I'm doing..It's all I need to finish & then I can get back to the final alignment of the nose..:)

Could probably use a picture from farther back to get a better idea of what your doing.

Either way. What/who's louvers are those?

I'm intending to work on the car with my helper Joey all this week:D

Starting this morning..I will post up a vid for sure tonight..I have everything lined up except the hood & right fender..Needed to get this bracing done since the aftermarket hood was flexing a bit where I had cut the inner structure for the vents..Stay tuned

Welcome back! I figured you'd be busy with the storm effort. Were you adjusting or swinging a hammer?

Car's looking good!

So it was more of a hood structure issue rather than the hinges correct?

The gap issue was solely the hinges (fender to hood) ...nothing to do with the structure..The structure problem was when you pressed on the hood by the vents (waxing :D can't wait for that ) the top skin would flex..With out the braces fillers I made It would be almost impossible to do the body work on the hood you'd be chasing getting it 110% super straight- ripple free
