If anyone has a trashed front passenger fender (71/72), I'm interested in a bit of sheetmetal off it.

I can't afford to replace the 73 fender that was put on my 72, so I'm thinking of just patching out the fender cutout.

What do you mean you can't afford the fender? Did they change the bumper on it too?
Yes, the entire bumper system changed for '73. When my car was in an accident the bubba shop used a '73 fender, so now my '72 bumper doesn't quite fit right. I had the emblems and antenna shaved and the whole thing painted before I found it. The accident was long before we owned the car.

I'm hoping that if I can get it patched out it will cost quite a bit less than buying another fender, truck freight, all that bodywork again, etc.
