Per your observation, I grew up on the mission field (Venezuela, S.A.); my folks were with what had been earlier called, "The Scandanavian Alliance Mission." Every family except ours had roots in either Denmark, Sweden, or Norway. Most from either Minn,Wisconsin, or Illinois; Last name ended in either "sen" (i.e. Larsen) or "borg" or "berg" something close. Good hard-working people they were.
