Hi,

I bought a few month ago a 73 Mustang Grandé with a meca Toploader 4 speeds. It's a code Q, but the heads are 2V.

I do now some maintenance on this car, clutch, complete exaust, seals... A lot to do, and I do with pleasure, cause it's a long long time I'm a fan of Mustangs, and was time to buy one.

I don't have yet the Marti report.

The number on the block I found behind the starter is D2AE-CA 3B20, so maybe the block is still the original one with 4 main bolts, and the heads with 4 cast number have been removed and changed by some 2V.

Anyway, the car is running well and I'm very happy to get this car.

I post already about a problem I get with the Toploader 4 speed.
