Well Done!Hedy Lamarr, right? Well, she invented frequency hopping, which is used for spread spectrum communications, which led to the use of wireless communications for cell phones. I don't believe she was responsible for directly inventing cell phones, though.
She was of Hungarian descent and left before Hitler took over; she was also a very famous movie actress here in the US.
