Have a '73 vert that I'm working on as a daily driver. My 19 yr old Grandson is working for me this summer while he is out of college and I have enlisted him to help me with projects on this car. Now understand that he has lead a sheltered life by any gearheads standard and honestly did not know a wrench from a pair of pliers. Finally let him drive the car on a drizzly, wet day to try to explain what is was like to run an older car without traction control and anti-lock brakes. We had fun on the road and he did really well considering. When we got home, he said "I can't imagine growing up when you had cars like this to drive". Or, was that just wishfull thinking on my part and he really said "I can't imagine growing up when you had to drive cars like this" . Still wants to help me wrench on the car for an upcoming road trip, so it can't be all bad.
