There is an article in the current issue (January 2011) of "Mustang Monthly" on a 1971 C-coded Mustang Coupe.

According to the article, this was apparently a "test" vehicle that was created by Ford. The article closes with a request for anyone who has knowledge as to why Ford built this car to respond via letter or email.

Interesting "read."

I have not read it yet either but I thought that was one of two identical test cars for Firestones tires and they were sold at Barrett Jackson. If I'm way off base I blame on old age.
