My Car
1973 Mustang Mach 1 Q code C6 tranny
Found this site a few days ago and just getting to the introduction. I live in the NW (TriCities, WA) and am a retired submariner that was stationed at Bangor, WA. Served on 3 submarines during my career, 1 fast attack and 2 Trident FBM's. After I retired I started working in the computer industry, STB Systems, 3DFX and NVIDIA. My current project is my 1973 Mach 1 which I am the original owner. It sat for over 20 years in AZ heat so after getting rid of the black widow spiders I am basically doing a resto Mod on this. I let it go over the years but I am now bringing it back to its former glory and hopefully better. Hope to have it completed by September or so. I have started a thread of my rebuild for those that are interested. I currently have a 78 Dodge Lil Red Express which I rebuilt and after the Mustang build I am rebuilding a 71 RoadRunner 440-6 4 speed V code car, not many of those made. Hope to tap into your knowledge during my Mustang rebuild.

Welcome from coastal Alabama! I like how you expressed it...bring it back to it's former glory or better. Awesome!

Welcome to the site from Virginia! Great color, white and black. I bet your glad you held onto your Mach all these years.

Welcome from Chesapeake VA 73 is my favorite year since I am a 73 model myself.

To this day I miss 3DFX.. I owned just about every card they released. I remember the day they announced their closure and sale of assets to Nvidia, I shed a tear that day.

Had a STB card or two..

I've used AMD cards pretty much since.. however I did use an 8800gt for a good while, great bang for the buck card.. Currently running a 680 that I got a good deal on..

anywhoo... nice looking project.

Welcome from SE Michigan.

I got an e-mail from someone the other day asking if I had any 3DFX cards. It was before I posted on this board and he was from Spain. Not sure how he got my contact.
