1973 Convertible, 351CJ, 5 Speed. Currently being restored. Projected finish date is some day.....
I'm to the point where I'm ready to install my new fuel and brake lines. While my car was at the body shop, I had them remove the old ones, and like the big dummy I am, I forgot to look at the old ones or take pictures so I would have a reference.

I was able to install the main fuel line, but I can't seem to get the vapor return line and the rear brake line to fit.

Does anybody have pictures of their installed vapor return line and brake line so I can make sense of it?

Thanks in advance.

Travis,

I'll shoot some pics tomorow for you. I am using the existing vapor return line for my efi system. By using this system I don't have to route a seperate return line and I wasn't planning on using that line anyway.

Thanks! Believe it or not, the pictures already posted are a great help. I've been going over two pics (one of the engine compartment, and one of the rear). Finally figured out where the vapor line goes!

Any additional pics would be gratly appreciated! :)

Here are a couple of shots from the passsehfer side rear. The tank is not installed but you can see the end where the rubber hose attaches to go to the tank.

This is what I've got. Hopefully it's right!

Looks like a match to me :)

Travis, All,

Anyone have suggestions on where to get compete replacement fuel and break lines that you where happy with(fitment and quality)?
I got all mine from National Parts Depot in Ventura. Price was reasonable and they fit just fine. Word of caution: If you are upgrading to rear disc brakes, I recommend using the standard soft steel lines vs stainless steel. Much easier to work with. I wound up removing the SS brake lines and replacing them with the softer steel that I could modify. (Same advice goes for the fuel lines if you plan any modifications).
