Bought a mustang to assemble in bed next week.Going for hip surgery next week... ,so to pass some time found a 71 mustang model to keep me from getting bored out of my mind while I spend 3 weeks healing up. I"m awful bummed @ the timing ,because I"ve got a stack of new parts to install on the Mach 1 for this spring & the snow is rapidly melting here. :(

Like building your model. Take your time. Do it right like they tell you. Repeat surgeries STINK! Ask me how I know. Hope you heal up quickly.

Yeah, all three of us are in the same boat. I have shoulder surgery next Tuesday. So i will only have use of my left arm for 6 weeks. Not looking forward to this at all...

Good luck with your hip! I hope it works out well for you.

No more chippendale try outs for you guys...sheesh...Seriously, I hate to hear that, at least you know everything will be okay. I think I would go crazy laying in bed for 6 weeks...in spring...my favorite time of year. At least you will get some chat time in so keep us posted.

Hey thanks guys,Yeah I had the other one drilled out 7 yrs ago I was on the go after 3 weeks.Yes plenty of time for 7173mustang surfing! CZ-75 mines on tues too!-good luck to you as well ! :)

I wish you guys all the best. You both will be in my prayers. Never had hip surgery but I have had a shoulder repair surgery. For me, the surgery wasn't the bad part, it was the physical therapy after the surgery that I hated. It's also probably the most important thing to "do right". Doing the surgery without doing the physical therapy is a waste of time and pain.
