Seeking recommendations for rewebbing my seat belts

Some before and after pics of soaking them. They are from a 71 white convertible and are parchment. They are non-retractable. They were pretty nasty and are less nasty now but still not nearly nice enough when everything else is new. The metal overall is in very nice shape. I have not tried to refresh/restore the metal at all other than the soak. I soaked them in very hot citrus degreaser with dish soap and vinegar. I changed the solution a number of times. The webbing does not need to be concourse correct. I have looked around and here are a couple of places:

Ssnake oil has done excellent work for many years. Don't expect it to be inexpensive. Chuck

You can get replacement seat belts very easily but I could not find any with the all metal buckles. I found this surprising since 70 and 71 are the same for deluxe belts (at least for the convertible). I think I am going to go with Python restorations. That is the place WCCC recommended in his video.

I have the same seat belts in my 71. I had Ssnake Oyl re-do the seatbelts in 2016 at a total cost of $750US ($950cdn...). This included new webbing, new factory type spec. labels and re-chrome the hardware. It was worth it for my level or required restoration. Mine were in just as bad shape. if not worse as the rear belts had been caked in trans fluid from the leaking top cylinders.

While on the subject of seatbelts; does any one know of seat belt extensions for our cars. Still getting used to the bigger car ( former 67 owner) and have to sit forwards to see over the hood!!

Have you looked into putting spacers between seat and rails? Rail would sit on top of the spacers and then bolt through rail and spacers.

I am planning to pitch 1/2 round spacers and washers and throw in 1" spacers (longer bolts)

That looks like a good idea, but still need a little room in the belts. Not a skinny as I used to be!!

I used Ssnake Oyl products for my other cars, not cheap, but they did an excellent job.

These are on Amazon. They look like they could work with our belts and you could always return for free if not.
