My Car
I have just purchased my first Mustang which is a 1971 coupe.
Hey guys me and my father ran into a trouble area over the weekend with the steering. we placed a factory correct steering column non tilt in the car and to us it look extremely low. due to the fact that the previous owner had patched the fire wall. so we are using the hole he had cut out and we just want to know if this is correct if not we will make the proper changes to make it correct. So if you guys would be able to look at the picture of our little drawing and be able to tell us if its in the right area.

(i will take into consideration of the carpeting and such)

Mine is tilt but when it's in the normal position it's the same as yours.
