I am looking for torque specs for my 72 Mach 1. Does the Haynes manuals have them? I am doing the suspension over right now and am looking for a manual that has all specs on all bolts in the car....specifically right now for the front end stuff (tie rods, control arms etc...). I don't want to "just" start cranking things down.

Thanks,

D. Rolls

I'm no expert, but my Haynes has the torque specs for most critical pieces. When I replaced my front and rear suspension, I didn't use a torque wrench at all. But then, I don't race.

For suspension parts, I just cranked them down and didn't worry too much about the torque.

When I want to copy a printed page I just a take a picture of it and upload the picture as usual. This is for a 1971.

Thanks for the info. I got enough to get started. I don't expect you to go out of your way like that but I do appreciate the help. This forum has some good people on it.
