It got delivered and put in yesterday, but the entire staff of the shop is sick and they closed at noon today. (this is a 8 bay shop that is normally running with 4 mechanics, 2 builders and a flunky-the flunky was the only one working this morning) It needs fluid and a test drive followed by a final inspection on the rack by me before I take it home tomorrow if my schedule permits. I saw no point in rushing them under the circumstances (aka I don't expect to pay much given the fact that at least part of the problem was install related) I am giving them more business after this is all done and proof tested ;)

I did pressure wash the garage tonight though! lol

The clutch didn't function properly when they got it back together. The linkage rod had pierced the clutch fork and my clutch doesn't look too hot. It was a Centerforce dual friction, but it really look crappy. I went to see the damage at lunch today. Summit is overnighting a Zoom Kevlar unit so We'll see what happens. I am not a happy camper

Should have called Gray at American Powertrain there in Cookville, Tn

Cookville is still 3 hours of driving (round trip) I can't afford to miss work, I have a desk of paperwork to get thru . . . at least I think there is a desk under there.

Unfortunately I replaced the clutch before converting to the 5 speed and I really wish it had all been done at one time with someone that did an entire package.

Initial replacement was soon after I got the car when the throwout bearing failed during an out of town trip-the drive home was . . . unpleasant.

Well understand that but I made it from Knoxville after work before they closed but hey I needed my parts. Cookville is only 80 miles you must be taking the bus:huh:

Sooo, you break into to something and drive like hell for 700 miles getting out of there. Would be more fun. :p
