Okay so I looked through about 40 or more 71-73 Marti Reports. Took me a long time because I wanted to figure out if the 71 I just bought had the dual paint on the hood since it is a Ram Air Option Car

I found this report on here which says Tuone Hood Paint, it doesn't have the side stripes though as I have seen in other reports. So I am right that this option is the dual hood and it doesnt require the Ram Air Option? So according to my Marti Report I do not have the dual hood paint or the side stripes. I am only having to ensure this as my research because as you may know I am making this one my factory original show car and want it have exactly what it came with. Also mine doesnt have a rear or front spoiler, which my yellow 71 didnt come with one either but the front spoiler was aded, I dont mind that because its my road race car.

The TuTone Hood was a 1973-only option. It included the hook locks and paint pattern only, no ram air components.

Any 71-73 RamAir optioned car would have the locks and hood paint in addition to the functional components.

So I know how much you know Kimmey killer and you know a lot no doubt about it so are you 100% sure that my 1971 ram air the one I just bought my second Mach 1 that’s literally being picked up in a couple of days and delivered from Maryland to Oklahoma Since it has the ram error it’s going to have the Paint pattern on the hood now since the colour is light pewter metallic which somebody actually just showed me theirs and they had the colour it look like a I guess Black on the hood there so are you saying that I will have that hood stripe since I have the ram air 100% percent. And I’m only wanting to be 100% certain because you know I have gotten so many different answers and the Marti reports don’t say it nothing really tells me it I can’t find it on the Internet I left a message for Marti Report company to call me back they haven’t called me back about it yet And since I’m doing a factory original show car I need to be 100% sure and a guy taught me either on this forum or on Facebook it took him years but he said you have to look at like multiple cars not just one and sometimes you have to take in you might get multiple answers but more than one answer is gonna be the same and it’ll probably be Given the most answers and you go with that one because you can’t always get it correct I mean they don’t make a book for it so if you say so I’m gonna trust you because I know you’re one of the top experts on here
