I would like to know if anyone knows where the "1972 Simple Wiring Diagram" came from that is on the website. What book did that come from, i'd like to get the book. i tried to download & print but it just can't be read. i have the other diagram but theres just to much there to work though. hope someone can help, thanks.

My 1971 wiring diagram was printed by Jim Osborn Reproductions, www.osborn-reproduction.com, and was purchased from eBay.

Those diagrams are from a Chilton's or Haynes manual, and can be found on my website as http://midlife66.com/wiring/wiring.html. These were put up circa 1999, long before I started refurbishing harnesses. I have every known wiring schematic for 64.5-73 Mustangs in my reference library. Some schematics were never produced (e.g. 67/68 tach wiring), so I had to reverse engineer them.

Hey midlife, i looked at what you have on your website and yes that's the one i'd like to find the book. when that schematic is printed, it's to blurred to read, so i'm tring to find the book it came out of. thanks for your efforts, i appreciate your help.

You can also get the original Ford manuals from various vendors, in pdf format, that are scanned from the original manuals. The price isn't bad, but the security/protection on the one I have is a pain to deal with.

I found those on the 'net; I don't have the originals. Personally, I don't care for them and rarely use them.
