Hi, I have a 429scj radiator that has been stored since the seventies. numbers are D1ZE-EA on it. They are hard to take pics so that you can see them, but they are there. I owned the car the radiator came out of. I am picky and I would not hesitate to run this radiator as is! price is $600.00...
I really don't know the market value! I am going to talk to a guy this week that has sold some of these 429scj and cj parts to see what he thinks. It is a D1ZE-EA out of a scj 71 429 car . Radiator cap is a RS 512A. Thanks Whisnane
It is a D1ZE-FA out of a 1971 429 super cobra jet automatic car I owned. Oem radiator has been stored since 1978. Engine was pulled to add new parts, and was sold later without the radiator! If memory serves me correct the car had sixty thousand on the car. Man don't I wish I had that car...
Yes this is a easy swap., if you can find a 1968-69 fairlane or torino with a 390-428 only . The factory fairlane frame mounts will bolt in with no changes.
Thanks to all on the positive comments. This really is a great all round street car, show or strip mustang. Its sad to see it collecting dust, cause I dont have time to enjoy it,but the car is stored in a nice garage. It needs a new owner to enjoy it.
