In the process of replacing the printed circuit on the back of the cluster. The nut holding the fuel gauge was rusted and turned the post in the gauge. Apparently there are no repops available. Anyone have a good used one they would be willing to part with?

Budget repair: if you have a thread pitch gauge you can measure the pitch & length of the stud, go on McMasterCarr.com input the thread pitch and length you desire; also look for the captive nut or whatever you need as well. Pull the old one out or use a heat gun and vice grips if you don't want to break it. However, if it breaks the plastic its 50years. old no surprise... just use Plastic JB Weld and pop in a new stud.

Honestly, a lot of the nuts, bolts, captive nuts, chromoly GR8 etc. you can find them on McMaster instead of spending t$35 on x4 bolts. However, the trade of is the quantity req. relative to shipping cost. so if you need just the x1 item... McMasterCarr and make it 18-8SS or chromoly GR8 where it counts.

Lastly, there's always a replacement to everything in that car. just gotta know where to look, someone here has re-fabbed the mount bracket for the Battery tray support "weld piece"

Best of luck ☺
