OMG! $88,000!!! I've sold 2 convertibles in this color 10 times nicer than this car for $25,000 and $35,000 in the past 8 years !!!

Q code is more important when discussing values. Looks like you have a nice-looking car in nice colors with the decor option. Also, your possible original condition rules in my book. I would keep it as stock as possible, but to each their own. 72's are better looking and more desirable than...

    Hello from Reno, Nevada

Kevin or anyone, Do you know the numbers of the exterior decor, stripe, tu tone hood options? My Marti doesn't mention the numbers. Also, Julie. Nice car and story. Look up Marti Auto Works for info on your car and post here if you get any results.

Aren't there also other costs that make it higher that was paid like buyer premium etc.. I know bright lime is desirable, but with green interior? Never could get used to that combo and I'm a green fan. I would rather have my 73 convertible in it's present condition that I'm selling than that...

Had to laugh when I saw this!

Get your mind out of the gutter. He said BJ car, not BJ. I've always known it to be cars with the sport deck rear seat option.

    nothing seems to match

    nothing seems to match

Probably a long shot, but does Marti have databases on all yellow Bosses made and how many are still around? Any chance finding that elusive number if it hasn't been ground also and doing an anonymous check for theft or if possible? Does this seem to be a Frankenstein car with all different date...

Article on why our cars are green

People nowadays rear end because of electronic devices it seems. I don't know what the odds are, but memories are priceless unless it is about a horrible accident. A newer car may not save lives either. I don't believe in living in fear, but don't have kids. I wouldn't always have them with me...

    71 Coupe Carlsbad CA

Welcome. Looking forward to seeing it. Make us jealous, especially Kevken1959. I don't think he even has a coupe, he only gets the table scraps.

They say it is the best '72 Mach1 on the planet

Am I missing something? It's always easier on the eyes when the dress matches the car. Contrasting hurts

They say it is the best '72 Mach1 on the planet

I consider it a 72 Mach I. A completely modified one missing much of a 72 Mach 1's original essence. A Mach 1 I don't appreciate, but do appreciate her enthusiasm. For me the less a car is touched the better. Even a plain jane 6cyl in an undesirable color. I think Ford got them right.

With the exterior decor group which your car appears to have , it should have the Mach1 type grill. Alot of times they are changed when an accident occurs. A Marti report might tell more. Also it would look better with the missing chrome on the grill replaced. Not criticizing as it still looks...

They say it is the best '72 Mach1 on the planet

The best 72 Mach I should be the most loaded R code in any restorable condition. Is it out there? I haven't seen a 73 Mach 1 I like better than mine and don't think I ever will, but I'm sure others will think elsewise. I did see a 72 Mach H code with period Hurst T tops Black on Black originally...

    Code??

I won't bash you and even won't mention anything about didgiting or anything. Go to Marti auto works and get some valuable info on your car. Get a Marti report and the original window sticker at the least

Article on why our cars are green

Another article on why our cars are green. More ammo for the fools telling us our cars are polluters. Our cars are bargains compared to paying 40K plus for a depreciating boring disposable car. We don't need airbags etc. , we are dare devils...
