FPA headers are very nicely built
I have a ceramic coated set.Dont have them in the car yet so can't speak about the fit.At least they don't go under the front suspension. They have been proven on a dyno to only be down 4 hp and 12 ft lbs from Hooker Super comps at the 600 hp level.
My engine wanted a little more carb,it was pulling more manifold vacuum than it should have at wot.Would make a bit more peak hp with a 1050.The 950 was custom built by Competition Carbs it has excellent throttle response and good street manners. They claim it's pretty efficient for what it is too.
I don't know what mine will do at the tire.I know my headers that are going in the car won't be as good as the dyno headers.Im using FPA headers for ground clearance they are a shorty design.
Yes it's going to be hard on tires. The dyno wouldn't drag it down enough to get numbers below 4500 rpms but my builder thinks it's making 600 ft lbs by 3000ish rpm.
360 is a big time turd.It would be just as much work or less to do the 429/460 swap.Even if I got a free 360 I wouldn't touch it.That 351c will flat destroy any 360.
I'm looking for the seat belt warning light that goes above the glove box for my 72 Mach 1.Doesnt have to work just don't want a hole in my dash.Needs to look good.
For sale.Used Super Comp Hooker headers. They are the slip fit type, rear 2 tube slip fit. They were never welded.1 7/8 tube 3 1/2 collectors.Passenger side has some road rash, drivers side is pretty good.225.00 plus shipping from Kansas City area.
