I parked my 73 Mustang next to my 66 Mercury Comet and my Comet is actually longer and sits higher up, that shocked me.

I have the correct levers in the old trans that I pulled from the car. The shop is going to pull them out of the old trans and put them in my new trans. I am also going to have them replace a couple other seals that are leaking.

How hard is it to change the shifter lever in the trans case on a C4 transmission? The transmission I installed with my 351W was for a column shift car.

The last day or so I had a smell coming from my 95 Chevy Truck and couldn't figure it out till today. It smelled like something died, like I hit something, but it didn't go away. I thought maybe it was the typical Chevy smell,lol, until I opened the hood and found this. Pictures explain it all.

Its just a plain jane base coupe that hardly anything is original on, the only thing original is the roof, pass door and seats. The car was rebuilt from salvage. there really isn't much collector status in it. I wouldn't have done this to a Mach 1 or a vert, but this car it won't hurt resale value.

When you cut the emblem out on the center dash does the gauges interfere with the AC ducts??? BTW: I use to have two center dashes with the gauges but I sold them on ebay years ago, doooh!!!!!!!

Where would the best place be to mount some aftermarket(Sunpro) 1 5/8" gauges on a 73 Mustang that had no gauges, just idiot lights. The only place I can find is to either drill some holes in the panel left of the headlight switch or to mount them on a pod beneath it. Anybody have any suggestions.
