For a limited time I have a template I can fill in your build sheet information. If you have a legible copy of yours I can fill it in for you and send back a PDF. It is pretty close to the real thing.
Looks like this:

I am confused! So I have read in many places that there were 133,867 Mustangs made in 1973. My VIN shows mine is the 145,680th made. (245,680) How can this be? The VIN for the first mustang in 73 is 100,001, correct? Am I missing something?
I have a couple of questions...my car has a factory AM-FM Stereo Radio. Possibly a dealer install? Also a digital clock...not sure about that either. The other thing is the "bumper rub strips", what are those?
Here is the clock:
The guy that did my U-Joints is a huge mustang fan. Turns out he built and drag raced a few different mustangs in the 80s. And owned a 70 Boss 302 he kicks himself for selling. He wants to drop a 460 into my 73 Convertible...should make it into a nice sleeper. I am sure a few people on here have...
U-joints seem tight, there is play where the yoke and driveshaft come together. Cant really get it "crack" like it does when it is is running. But there is movement there somewhere.
New leaf springs! Correct height and night and day difference in handling! Going to look at the driveshaft next. Getting a noise when going into and changing gears. Anyone know what the problem could be?
My "new" '73 Convertible had been sitting mostly over the last 5 or so years, only driven about 200 miles. It has A/C but needs charging. When I use the vent and blower it has a funky, like stale odor. Question...is there a cabin filter or somewhere to clean to freshen it up? Thanks for your help!
Can anyone who has replaced their leaf springs share any issues you had, or tips and tricks? I have never done it and although it looks fairly simple I am hesitant to start on it because of the great unknown!
