I tried connecting the end of new hose directly to the pump, I didn't realize there was an extension fitting. In my defense, there was about 4 inches of accumulated grime covering the fitting so it appeared to be all one piece. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey Y'all. PS pressure hose had a hole and was showering the exhaust manifold in fluid creating quite a dramatic display of smoke. Pulled the pump and cleaned her up and replacing both hoses with parts from NPD. The pressure hose from NPD looks different with a different pump side fitting...
