    Temporary suspension of services

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Thankfully to date I have not needed one, but suspect the left hip will be due in a few more years. I have worked for 2 Orthopedic manufacturers in the past (Smith & Nephew, Stryker) and a pharma company in the mix. As others have stated follow your PT...

FMX slipping when turning left corners

i would agree with fluid level check first. Smell the fluid if it smells burnt you may have more work ahead with the clutch material being burnt.

    Crime and punishment

Sorry they got your trailer and property Chuck. As others have mentioned we have alot of things to fear and protect these days. I don't have or know the answer other than plan for the worse and hope for the best.

    Interior apart for 30 hrs

Agree with others. Obtain a wiring diagram via the sources referenced. Assemble the dash out of the car and then install in the car. It is easier with the windshield out, but not impossible with it in.

    White seats for ‘73 convertible

Just to clarify the first photo posted is the original white/black you are trying to source correct? The second and third are the replacements. It is hard to find the original comfortweave material any longer. I recall someone recently had some material for sale on the forum, but think it was...

Have you looked at SMS website? I think they do headliner material as well and can sew to pattern they may have.

Ever Take your Mustang out in the Snow?

Not driven, but did take some pictures. Down in the western corner of TN we didn't get snow often.

    Proper Bolt Color

Here is a picture from the 300'ish mile survivor 73 vert I documented many years ago. This is the same car Bob Perkins used for his article on the 73 undercarriage detailing. I have many other pictures of this car if needed. This car is 100% original at the time of taking these pictures...

    Proper Bolt Color

73 would be the same as C9ZX references. Often referred to as Gold Cad plating.

    X

Not sure if the concourse area may be the best for this question. Maybe the general body and exterior section would obtain more informed responses. Just trying to get you more visibility to your question.

    New member from Florida. 😎

Not sure the extent you are wanting to go to find the car, but I have heard of people hiring private investigators who have access to databases that the general public does not. I am sure it is not cheap, but if you are determined and have a few dollars may want to reach out to one and ask.

    Door glass alignment

If you have new weatherstrip on both the door and the glass that can affect the fit for a period of time while they both compress a little. It looks like you may have some rippling on the top seal above the glass. Can that be pulled out to either end? If the door weatherstrip is also new and...

AM 8 Track is Back in the Mustang

very nice work on restoring the 8 track and getting the right speakers. I located a set or original dried out speakers and removed the face frame from them to include the metal grill attached to the speaker and mounted it on a new 4x8 speaker with the correct OHM rating as original. I placed...

Glad I am not doing a concours resto

Kevken sorry to hear about the negative statement shared about you. That does no one any good. I am always impressed by the collection you have amassed. I truly is great to have you in this group and the wealth of information you have gathered on these cars and the examples in metal to show for...

Selling my low mileage survivor 1973 Mustang Convertible on Ebay to fund my MANY MANY projects!

Sorry for the difficulties. I have heard this more than not with higher caliber cars on ebay. It is probably some guy sitting at home all day with nothing better to do than play this frustrating game with real people.

Selling my low mileage survivor 1973 Mustang Convertible on Ebay to fund my MANY MANY projects!

Looks like your listing sold. Congratulations! Hope the sale completes without any difficulty. It is a great car for the new owner. I hope they maintain it and care for it as much as the 3 previous owners have.

Clear vs green glass- why two?

It did come standard on AC cars and was available as an option on non AC cars. My customer order car shipped to Ogden, UT was a non AC car with tinted glass ordered as an option.

Big block won’t clear flat hood

Not trying to ruffle any feathers here. Just questioning the need to post your question in the Concourse area vs another area more focused on the performance aspects you are looking for. I hope others have now answered your question on the factory hood type with the BBF motors.

Glad I am not doing a concours resto

While I respect Mr. Perkins for his knowledge and foresight to travel the country and cleanout any old NOS parts from dealerships back in the 70's and 80's he does look to recover his expenses plus for his effort. I do think if you are looking for that last OE/NOS part to top off your build you...
