Its been a few years since I tackled mine, but if the fuzzy memory is correct there maybe a rivet on each side of the trunk door opening too.

Repro battery. In judging you get a deduction for cover. This is my second battery. My first one lasted 2014 to fall 2022. I thought that was a good life span. Hopefully this one will last as long.

I do not think the housings come off. I believe they are glued together to prevent water entry into the housing.
