The reason I like it breaking the tach circuit is because all the electrical will still work. I've got the original factory 2 wire tach, so disconnecting the tach will kill power to the coil. Thus preventing the engine from running or starting. It would be hard to figure out why it won't run...

It does have an internal battery. It can be controlled by SMS messages. It sends messages to your phone. I was planning to break the circuit at the tach. That will kill the ignition coil. It's almost impossible to stop a thief, but I can try to help to keep honest people honest. Deterrents can work.
