    Lifter noise

I second the headers, mine loosened up after I first ran them. My heart stopped until I realized it was loose header bolts.

1973 mustang convertible with only one driver side chrome mirror.

This file shows how to install the mirrors, and it has part numbers. Maybe you can use those to search for what you need? Good luck.

Noob 15 year old restoring 1972 Mustang

Welcome from So Cal. I agree with what others have said; don’t make it a jack stand queen. First, make a plan or outline to bring the car up to snuff. First things are always whoa before you deal with the go. Good brakes, suspension, steering, lights, etc. I got a 1962 Corvair from a neighbor...

73 Radio Bracket Box? Previous owner did a right one to my car.

I think you’ll need to buy a replacement. Here is the first one I found on EBay; I think it’s for an AC car: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-1973-Mustang-Lower-Dash-Panel-Frame-with-A-C-Metal-/143411445182

600cmf holly carburetor not getting enough vacuum

And personal experience, I’ve found the stock spring is a bit too stiff. If you find all is well on the diaphragm, you might try a softer spring.

600cmf holly carburetor not getting enough vacuum

Just for info, the vacuum secondaries work by the vacuum produced in the primary bores, as the air rushes by into the engine. Maybe that port is clogged or something, preventing the vacuum from reaching the diaphragm? Good luck.

    My first Mustang 73.

I thought you could only get that far, rear section, past the end of the rear passenger’s footwells, from the full floor pan. If someone has an NPD part number for that part, please provide it.

Speaker and console mods I've made. Added overflow tank to radiator.

Nice job on the speakers in the rear panels; looks factory.

    Recharge Vintage AC

If it stopped blowing cold air, and the compressor is engaging when you signal AC, it likely has a leak. You might want to consider getting the leak fixed first. Good luck.

What a wonderful story. Would make a great reveal video to post to those of us lucky enough to have kids who make us proud.

    Radiator Overflow Tank Question

In theory, it’s a stock replacement, aluminum version. If you look back in my build thread, you’ll see the struggle I had, trying to retain the stock fan from the 87 TBird I pulled this swap from. While it was a more complicated integration than I had expected, I’m glad now it worked. The...

    Motorcraft Carb

You could just replace the fuel pump, but it may not be that. If you want to determine what’s wrong, without just replacing stuff until you stumble upon the problem, you’ll need to verify you have fuel at the pump. Remove the wire from the coil to the distributor, remove the fuel line to the...

    Holly Carburetor

If that’s a 2300, it’s either a 275 or 325 CFM. To tell, measure the carb bore. If the diameter is 1 1/8", the carb is the 275 CFM. If the opening is 1 3/16", it is the 350CFM carb.

    Radiator Overflow Tank Question

That is some fine craftsmanship. My issue is, in order to make the radiator fit the engine fan, I had to lower the radiator quite a bit, and in no way could I use anything remotely stock looking. So, what I want to do is, use the stock upper locators, since they are aligned pretty well to the...
