Parts Wanted '71-'72 ignition and door lock set

ePay is probably your best bet but it might take time for something to pop up. I bought a reproduction set and they suck. So I bought these on eBay not 100 percent correct but are Ford parts and quality.

    Quicky interior question...

Yes but I would leave some of xtra length too tuck up under the weather seal channel after the glues dries and you remove the clamps. I found there is a gap between the interior headliner trim and the channel you can see from inside the car if you look up. Just my observation and what I saw...

    Quicky interior question...

I would wait and leave extra material to put under the channel as I found headliner material under my weather strip channel which I found it covers the gap between the headliner trim and the channel which I wish I would have know ahead a time.

    CHI 4V heads report

Nice! The CHI heads look to be a very good cylinder head. I’d like to know your cam specs. I also like the type of hydraulic roller lifter you are using. I’m sure the dog bone style is much quieter than the tie bar style. Did you have any header issues with these heads?

    Heat shields

Anyone using modern car type heats shields under their car to deflect exhaust heat like newer cars have? I’m not talking about all that DEI stuff that seems to not work but actual new car type heat shields. I have my interior out of my car right now for prepping it for paint and I do have the...

    Mustang 429CJ engine or not

Plenty of those thick web blocks in Lincoln’s and what not. All D0VE blocks are like that. I like the D0VE blocks with the big A in the front. I had a I numbers matching 1970 Cobra 429 cobra jet car early build with a C9 block. Some CJ’s have CJ cast into the lifter valley but all. Lots of 2...

What did you do to your car today?

Yeah really like the Wimbledon white it’s a very clean and classy color but Grabber Blue might be an option 🤪 then again the original Ivy Glow is pretty nice color especially out in the sun. And yes it’s an epoxy primer. Also talked to my buddy yesterday and he said if I get it mostly prepped...

What did you do to your car today?

I started a thing the other day and I’ll be hopefully doing a little each day. Plan to prime and bodywork as much as I can then talk my buddy into spraying it. But just might shoot it myself. Doors are coming off next fenders are media blasted already and I’ll strip the trunk lid myself. Looking...

    Inner fender reinforcement?

Why in the world they aren’t included on a new fender is beyond me. The same was true with a NOS Torino fender I had. I was told with the Torino by a long time Torino guy you have to fit the fender extension before welding in this same reinforcement or it can throw off the front of the fender...

    Inner fender reinforcement?

I’ll probably use it since you can’t see them once installed. They are ok overall but they do have some rust thru holes.

    Headliner question

You do glue them in place without the weather strip rail in place. But my original headliner was also under the weather strip channel and it covers the gap between the headliner trim and the weather strip channel. So in saying that leave enough on the sides to put up under the weather strip...
