I ran 86 GT recaro seats In my 71 Grande. I removed the 86 seat tracks and installed the 71 tracks. Bolted them right in. I have been looking for fox body seats for the right price.

Now that I put all back together I can rotate the axle by the wheel stud easily forward and back. I'm thinking maybe the backing plates were loose because the axle retaining plates weren't tightening enough.

Damn they worked good before paint. I didn't do a test run when I drilled the holes. Figured there was enough adjustment brackets.

I'm having trouble with the twist locks as well. I got the left one to work but very hard to twist for my liking. The right one not at all. I had to walk away for now.

Got back to it on Sunday. I took a measurement the pin outward to the outer bearing surface. The ales were a tick to long. I took of about a 1/8 of an inch both axles and put it back together. Hoping for the best on that. My OCD kicked in I couldn't handle the exhaust cross bar not being...
