Hi All. Almost finished my 17 year Mach1 fastback project and I have just fitting new windscreen wiper arms and I have noticed that the drivers side wiper arm is out of position, compared with the passenger side. I'm sure their supposed to be flush below the hood when in the off position. The passenger side is perfect but not the drivers side.
Are they adjustable and how is it done.
I have just painted the cowling and I did not want to disturb the bolts unless I have to, that's why I am asking you guys first.

Thanks Chuck for the info. Unfortunately its a bit distorted, but I got the jist of it. Am I right in saying that the wiper blade arm "holder " can be pulled off the shaft, which is probably splined? I have a photo of the "holder" which has a cross on the top. Does this pull off the drive shaft?

No. If you look in the part of the wiper arm that fits over what you have in the picture you will see that it has several degrees of adjustment. Try reinstalling the wiper arm in a lower position. If this doesn't place the arms low enough the park function of your wiper motor may have failed.

I just went threw this a few weeks ago. Just remove the wiper arm from the pedestal and flip the arm over You will see the adjustment built into the arm. Just reinstall the arm on the lower setting.
