All I can say is…

This was my tag when I was a teenager. The letters are my initials. My older sister got it for me when I started driving. Check out that last inspection sticker. My car then was a yellow 1971 Mustang Sportsroof with 302 3 speed.

I have a set of these (5) 14”x7” but they won’t go cheap. The trim rings and caps are matched (deep dish). I have never offered them for sale because shipping prices nowadays are pretty astronomical.

When I bought my car I received a number of supporting documents but no build sheets. I do believe there is a possibility that the build sheets remain inside the vehicle. Should I assume that they might be found underneath of the carpeting? Or possibly under rear seat cushions?

Don, I have been looking for a little clarification on the “Fairlane rear drum conversion“. Wouldn’t you have to change backing plates? I somehow assumed if you changed to wider brake shoes the geometry to the wheel cylinder and bottom pin would be different and not line up precisely?

I remember replacing the turn signal switch in my old 71 Sportsroof when I was a teenager because of the same brake light issues that were exposed to me at DMV when getting the car reinspected. Ahh… memories… good times

That was the transport driver. His his first language wasn’t english but, he got the car here safely.

Thank you, It shows very well and it has been preserved very well but it needs a lot of updating. it’s a very basic low option “Sportsroof” just like my teenage car back in the day. I wasn’t sure when I bought it sight unseen but it has turned out to be a good value.

Well, We all need some adult entertainment sometimes 🤪. Feeling better and better about my purchase after seeing stuff like this.
