How big should the big 73 bumper be?

On a 73 mustang with the painted eurathane urethane bumper, how far should that bumper stick out? I met another 73 mach1 owner. We were comparing notes. On his car, the middle of the bumper sticks out like 6" past the chrome trim. On my car, it sticks out 6.75". As far as I can tell, both cars have 73 fenders, extensions, grilles, and bumpers.

I have owned a bunch of 73 Mustangs over the past 30 years and your bumper looks about right. Mine is 6 3/4" out from the lower bright work on the center of the grill.
