    Replacement Exhaust Tips with resonators

FYI I found some tips made by Stainless Works at Summit Racing Equipment. They are pricey until you consider the material and fabrication needed to make them. Now the hope is they show up in this millennium. LOL

    Replacement Exhaust Tips with resonators

Definitely not restoring to factory condition. I just like the way the exhaust system that came on the car sounds. The mufflers are after market and the exhaust note while cruising is unobtrusive. But when you give it the gas it has a nice bark to it.

    Replacement Exhaust Tips with resonators

As can be seen the exhaust tips on my '72 Mach1 have seen better days. Would like to replace them with something similar. Did these cars come with these tips? My search has not yielded much of anything that is close to these.

    Quickjack lifting points

I get the feeling that this forum like many others is just a way for a bunch of "know it alls" to argue over something. Came on here to hopefully learn some things. But as I've seen it's dominated by certain people who are legends in their own minds!

    Favorite Detailing Products

I've used a plethora of washes, waxes and polishes over the years. Maguire's has always had decent products. I used to love Classic Car Wax. But I've been impressed with some of Wizard's products in recent years. Their Mystic Nano Wax is awesome in keeping a shine for a long period of time...

1973 evap can to gas tank line

I was researching trans coolers for my RV that to tows my race trailer. While doing so, I found out the primary function of the trans lines running to the radiator isn't primarily for cooling. It's to insure the trans gets up to operating temperature using the heat from the radiator. After it...

Edelbrock 2665 Manifold for 351C - why so rare?

I ordered mine from Summit months ago knowing it might be awhile.  Got mine a couple weeks ago.  They are now producing these at the new facility but have a sizeable back log of manifold orders to fill.

Need info on 1972 Mach 1 Dashboard

I have a 1972 "Q" Code Mach 1.  Were the "Q" codes equipped with the 3 gauges in the center below the vent? Or was that an option or just on "R" codes? Thanks

Door "Plate" Sticker on '72 Mach1

I've been doing some research on my Mach1.  When I checked out the Door Plate which in '72 was is a Sticker.  The lettering is not aligned.  Was this normal or am I looking at a duplicate or fake?  The sticker looks a bit too new given the age of the car.
