That`s the problem with aftermarket chinese re-pop window trim crap-material IS thinner, bends way too easy, combined with re-pop rear gaskets that are thicker, I could not engage clips, although west coast cougar sells adjustable rear clips,among others.

Year ago, all my trim was cloudy and faded. A shop stripped the clear coat off and re-polished. My question is, What material was our window and roof rail moldings  made of, stainless or aluminum? :huh:

Does anybody have a pic to post exactly where the 197 seat bottom return and adjuster lever springs attach to? Also, I have several sets of hinge covers, all same mi-year config. with screw holes. All have end twisted off. What is best ideas to attach screw to hinge hole without tearing side...

Pictures would be great help. If ur control panel says a.c unabridged AC. Vacuum hoses go to a rectangle rubber fix that attaches behind panel, known as the octopus they sell these new. Under the hood look at firewall passenger side. AC cars have p shaped hole open with a clines and heater...

Sorry, i should have said in the post 429, not cleveland cars.  I think with so little room with a big block a s-shape was used.

On 429 cj motors, does anyone know if heater hose connection at water valve have a 90 degree hose at firewall with factory a/c? Heater only cars use straight holes but they are higher up the firewall.

Can anybody post a picture of 429 cj with factory a/c heater hose to firewall connection? Does the control valve hoses have a elbow or staright connection?

When mounting a/c h-block/expansion valve, does the large female fitting go up or down? I know on the evaporator side both sizes are same , but on the engine side I believe the large fitting is up?  This large size goes back to compressor so I need to get this right. :huh:
