Interesting, that might explain why so many of us have had a hard time closing our trunks after installing new after market trunk seals. It sounds as if the solution might be to simply punching a few small holes in the after market seal so it'll compress like the original seal.

Those are some really awesome cop cars. I don't know any of our departments actually "buying" cars like Lamborghini's or Audi R10's but I've known departments that have seized cars like that on drug cases and put them into use by the departments.

I believe most large wheel/tire shops keep a wide assortment of wheel locks, if you take them one that you've removed they might lend you a key. Mine had wheel locks when I first bought it but no key, took it to the local Les Swab dealer and they had a key that fit.

That's a good half way point mileage wise, us three could meet up in Dupont and commute in one car to use the HV lane. It's still a heck of a long drive for Ernie since he'll have to go through Seattle's traffic both ways. His 50 mile return trip from SeaTac could easily turn into 2 hours.
