    nice vert for sale

He says it appraised for $14.5K which indicates he'll probably take less than that amount. Sounds like he only wants sober bidders who have their spouses approval and understand it needs to be trailered home unless you live in the area. Apparently the first two higher bidders were lacking in...

New Old Stock Parts: Not Always a Good Choice

Interesting, that might explain why so many of us have had a hard time closing our trunks after installing new after market trunk seals. It sounds as if the solution might be to simply punching a few small holes in the after market seal so it'll compress like the original seal.

    Boss for $22,000

Exactly what I was running into when I was looking for a 71 Boss on the cheap and ended up buying a 71 M Code Mach1. I'm now back looking for a 71 Boss but far more educated; my primary requirement is unmolested, with original drive train that's not a rust bucket at a reasonable price. I don't...

    Mustang's New Steeda Police Interceptor

Those are some really awesome cop cars. I don't know any of our departments actually "buying" cars like Lamborghini's or Audi R10's but I've known departments that have seized cars like that on drug cases and put them into use by the departments.

    Mustang's New Steeda Police Interceptor

I suspect they'll be rarely seen on the streets due to the costs and lack of room in the back seats, but there are some larger Law Enforcement agencies that have funds for toys like that. I can see where they would make great chase cars for VIP protection, where costs aren't an issue. They...

    Wikipedia on the 71-73

Well there was one thing accurate about our cars, "poor visibility for the driver" but I disagree with the rest, plus where in the heck did they come up with a weight gain of 800lbs when the 71-73's came out? Ford Mustang Mach I 351 2V V-8, model year 1970, 3240 lbs base curb weight. Ford...

Wheel lock removal, the hard way...

I believe most large wheel/tire shops keep a wide assortment of wheel locks, if you take them one that you've removed they might lend you a key. Mine had wheel locks when I first bought it but no key, took it to the local Les Swab dealer and they had a key that fit.

    Laurel Mountain Mustang Scam Artist

Yep, their website is up and still accepting orders but I called both their contact #'s 724-696-9665 and 1-888-925-7669, on both lines I received a message that I had contacted them outside of their work hours, although I did call during their work hours. Soooo it's apparent they're having...

Same here Ernie, hope you get over it soon, it was great seeing you at the car show, we'll have a beer for you. Pat, I say we just all meet there at a time that works for Don, by the time you came by my house to pick me up you could be almost there. Don for your GPS, the address is 8100...

Ernie, sorry to hear about the kidney stones, it's a hell of a drive for you through that traffic so if you decide not to tackle it with your medical issues; no big deal, just give us a heads up and we'll skip the drive to SeaTac and have a beer for you at the Ram in Lacey. Jim

    Tacoma, Washington - Oct 5 or 6, 2015

That's a good half way point mileage wise, us three could meet up in Dupont and commute in one car to use the HV lane. It's still a heck of a long drive for Ernie since he'll have to go through Seattle's traffic both ways. His 50 mile return trip from SeaTac could easily turn into 2 hours.

    Tacoma, Washington - Oct 5 or 6, 2015

Notice Don picked the places with "Brewery" and "Pub" in their names! Both are fine choices, the 6th works for me. Mcnamara's Pub is normally the busiest due to it's location next to the base; last time we were there we had to wait along while for seats at dinner time, I'd suggest the Ram...
